Rottrevore was an excellent band. Sick shit at such an early time. This band is one of the reasons why we have some really sick and brutal bands out there. They took the gore thing to the next level and made it distrubing and sick. They have a real filthy sound. If you can find any of their material you definatly need to get it. If you cannot find anything which its probably hard to I believe roy from necroharmonic is putting out some of their material again. Its cool though that your curious about this band.

I have their Full Length as well as the "epitomy of pantalgia" demo ,with a live set on the b-side,and the "Copulation of the Virtuous and Vicious" EP, great band...would not call them gore though..just really heavy nasty death metal. Mark (guitarist) has a new band now called ,Eviscium which also features Sharon Bascovsky formerly of Derketa

"The band draws highly from the influences of the Scandinavian and United States death, doom, and grind bands from the late 80's and early 90's but with the brutality of some of the more recent bands of today. Their sound is a combination of drop-tuned guitars and a low-end, raw vocals style. The pace of their music spans from very slow total doom, to mid paced hell chunks, to blister packed fury. Their lyrics range from the dark and ominous, to the reality of life and death."

this is a more accurate description than i could give you, this is from their Bio. www.eviscium.com
