against Theft, Fire, Flood? I'm looking for a company that specializes inuring music gear. I owe it to my husband, the Flying V, heh--

you and your husband should make a porno together, that would be hot.

I have all my gear insured; what's your question?

If you insure a studio, it includes the equiptment inside.

She wants to insure her stuff, and needs you assholes to list companies and rates.

My question would be if equipment is covered under your studios policy, what happens if you're at a gig and something's stolen?

it's not covered unless you lie and say that it got stolen from your studio while you were at a gig.

I found this one place Music Pro Insurance

http://www.musicproinsurance.com

but how do I really know they're legit? Anyone policied with them? They're from an area of New York where I was once fucked over by another company while shopping my novel around five years ago. Skeletons in my closet.

3rd Knuckle, whom do you recommend ?

i personally would try a regular insurance agency you do know and see if they have any policies for that kind of stuff. and since they are all about making money i'm sure they do.

I tried the ones I currently work with, but they wouldn't grant a policy without putting all of my HOUSEMATES' property on the policy too. Fuck that. I was like, umm, most of my stuff in a PRACTICE SPACE not my house.

fuckit, a million insurers advertise with the magazine I work at (Atlantic Monthly). I should try one of them, but they're used to insuring yachts and lear jets, more like
