The idea someone NEEDS the freedom to use a semi-automatic with over ten bullets in particular in order to hunt an elk suggests they're such a crappy shot they should be nowhere near a gun. I think hunting and eating what you kill are part of life and part of this country. But if you can't do it with a simple firearm let alone a bow and arrow or a knife, and you need to fire off dozens of shots with a semi, nature has already kicked your ass, and it's time to ditch the Rambo meets Bambi charade and order your sorry ass a pizza.
