see the thing is, i was just putting my information on here and everyone starts talking shit. why? im trying to find a band, and everyone starts telling me im retarded for knowing music theory, i wasn't flaunting it, i was merely stating i have theory knowledge. i dont care about what people call metal today, it all sucks. pantera and burn my eyes from machine head, fear factorys demanufacture, thats what i call metal.... not fuckin avenged sevenfold.
as for material, i was in a band for 6 yrs, everyone was perfectionist but me and the bassist so we hardly played anywhere or recorded. all the recordings i did have were stolen on my last laptop, and nobody in the band gave a shit to keep our stuff.
as for my own personally written shit, i'm not done writing anything becaus berklee is kicking my ass and i dont have time to do anything on my own. and people at berklee are all stuck up and hardly any metal heads there, and the ones there are, are already in bands. and i dont limit myself to things, i listen to shit loads of music, but what i "like" is only a few certain things.
and yes im sry to say the only prog band i like is dream theater, i want to play stuff like that on drums.... therefore im a prog drummer. other prog bands i have heard i do not like.
so please again if you want to tell me about a band thats looking for a drummer like me, then comment.... if not then dont fuckin comment.
