That was one of the most insane shows I have ever seen. Full on Knights battling, fire, fireworks, coffins, monks, puke, and blood on the dance floor. The rain tonight is going to have it's job cut out for it cleaning that parking lot.

Always awesome to see these bands getting bigger and bigger. Even on a toasty warm night, the room was pretty packed. Thank you to the Middle East for keeping that room ice cold.

Almost 20 years since I last saw Hot Cross and now Saetia is back. I thought I missed my chance when they had the reunions in NYC, but then I saw this show was happening and couldn't believe it. The show was pretty awesome. It brought that 1999 sound in the best possible way. Plus, it was over and I was home before 11pm.

It has only been 15 years since the last time I saw hope con. For the 3rd time recently, we once again tapped our strategic Jim-Carroll reserves to get a classic hardcore band back. The entire show was 3 of my top live bands and one band with all members of bands that I love live. Great night! You can see COA in Manchester at the Jewel tomorrow (6/8).

What a great night with all people that I used to see all the time in VFW's but now, hardly ever see. The venue ruled. You will notice in the photos that other people's flashes were going off when I took my pictures. It was pretty weird. I also too a roll of 35mm that I will be posting later.

It's crazy to think that basically 1.5 to 2 decades ago, I would spend a couple nights a month with many of the people in that room. Hearing Chris's vocals ruled, it brought me right back.
Also, the lighting at the Vault (in the big room) rules. I took almost 4 1/2 thousand pictures.

The 19th MDF is over and in the books. It went by so fast. With the new set up, it was really simple to navigate all the bands on all the stages. Since I haven't slept yet, good night. More pictures on IG later.

Ugh! today was awesome but went by way too fast. I'm sad that I didn't get to hear Forbidden do Step By Step. One more day. It's going to go by way too fast and I'll be driving home.
