2 shots from 2 photographers right next to each other. This was my kiddo's first hardcore punk show and he wanted to take pictures. He did a great job and I posted about 100 of his shots of COA.
This event was really cool. Mostly because there were people there over so many generations. People from the 80's, 90's (when I would hang there), 00's, and into the 2010's. It's awesome to see how much this place meant to people... but it's sad to think that it's going away and that the next generation of weirdos won't be able to be there. The world needs weird. And kids need a place to do punk things with their punk friends.

 | 30 hours without sleep after MDF and driving home. This is just a place holder as I upload and sleep. I will replace it later.

 | This day was pretty darn perfect. Unfortunately this is the point where I realize that MDF is basically over. We only have one more day to hang so I will see you in a few hours.

 | A trying day all around. It started off with a killer set by No/Mas and then someone jumped off the building to their death. Condolences to the family and friends of that person. There was a rain cloud over head all day after that which broke and forced the edison lots later bands to perform at Power Plant Live. Now, Saturday and Sunday are going to be great days. I just know it.

 | Day one is done. Only 3 stages today. Tomorrow is 5 stages. I've been waiting for years for the Power Plant Live stage to be used and it finally was and it was glorious. Can't wait for Vio-lence there tomorrow.

 | For those of you living under a rock or don't have the pleasure of talking with me, Vio-lence's album Eternal Nightmare is one of my top 10 albums of all time. Since they were in Cambridge, I had to go. Now, time to get 3hrs of sleep and head down to catch all the bands at MDF this weekend.

 | I have absolutely no idea what the singer of exploited said in any of his times talking. Still, the show was for the punks. Great hot night.

 | This was one of the sweatiest shows I've been to in a very long time. With 90's out side in May and sold out inside, it was like a sauna. I got there late after grabbing a rental camera for MDF and trying it out at this show.
If you have seen Turnstile on the late night shows, they were on point just like on the TV. Even playing their older songs. It's such a great time when a band that I've shot in basements is selling out the palladium. Plus, the singers shirt saying "THANK YOU" was the cherry on top.
