I was sort of disappointed... the vocals are lacking something. It's not as brutal and dirty as older CD. Barnes is probably just getting old.

Ok these guys fuckin BLOW. But everyone should hear the song 420 at least once (on the Warpath album). It's a damn good laugh. Yeah, I think Chris Barnes is pushing 40. Sucks.

I like (the last from)6 feet as Chris sings way better compared to -say- Cradle O. F. They are the only death metal band now combining speed with great grooves. And age doesn't matter (see Slayer). Bye!

i think that sfu is kinda crappy and its obvious that chris was better in cannibal corpse. however there are lots of reasons to like sfu even though i dont. i own warpath and its a lot different than the normal approach to death metal. the new disc is really different with ice tea and stuff(i thought that was the stupidest thing i'd ever heard) but regardless they have some good songs that are very classic metal.

ok... i would LOVE to see any hardcore band's bassist step up and try to out play Alex Webster of Cannibal Corpse. it would never happen. and Pat O'Brien From CC is a SICK axeman. so what if CC's drummer is lacking. their guitar playing and their riffs are fucking great and their songs are getting more and more technical every album. i fucking hate when people say "oh death metal is no talent double bass and grunting" what in the fuck is hardcore? its all open stringed chugging with some fag that screams. screaming = way less talent than death vocals. so yeah... this album was sort of lacking but maximum violence is a good listen. Cannibal Corpse owns every hardcore band for free.

A different approach to death metal from one of the forefathers of the genre. I'd call it stoner death metal, gore obsessed lyrics over a heavy churning back drop. Some songs come off a little cheesy, but worth listening to.

u guys are retarded sfu owns canibal corpse. haunted, warpath, maximum violence, and 13 are way better then any canibal corpse cd. repetitive is where he keeps grunting fast over and over. 420 shows talent and your a fag if you dont like it.

but anyway, i know i should hate this cd, and it really is shitty i guess, but i cant help giving it a listen every now and then. maybe cuz its so catchy, maybe for the humor factor, especially when he does that pig with its throat slit squeel. he should never, ever, do that. then again, i dont give a shit what he does anymore, im done with this band. hes about as br00tal as america..
