There are no words to describe to you how good this cd is. I've only had it long enough to play through it a couple of times, but I knew as soon as the first song was over that it was one of the best death metal albums I own. The album has a great melodic aspect, but doesn't sacrifice ANY brutality at all to get that melodic driving sound. If you are thinking that becuase I mentioned the word melodic you can dismiss this album as sounding like In Flames or Shadows Fall then you are grossly mistaken. This album is crushing from start to finish - ridiculous drums, searing guitars and Glen Benton on vox (you know what that means). If there is one album that you should put at the very top of your list over anything to come out in recent months (including new Fetus and new Suffocation) it is Vital Remain's Dechristianize.

This is arguably one of the top 5 Death metal albums of all time each song is like an epic that goes on and on you could almost think of this album as a story and some amazing guitar riffs

excellent album. Vital Remains really raised the bar on this one. this was worth the wait. drummer is precise, rythms totally rip, the harmonies polish and brand difinitivness beautiful and benton's vocals are a astounding compliment to the grandur of the album.
