| I borrowed first Midian from a friend. Didn't like it at all. So I gave that back and borrowed this. Don't like it at all either. All the songs are boring and Dani Filth is a useless vocalist. The occasional nice melody, the drumming is very solid, but besides that it is on a whole, pretty crap.

| This album is the heaviest, intense, and most beautiful death metal album ever. Dani's vocals are the best in the genre. The music structure is amazing as well. Definatly have a listen to "a gothic romance" & "Dusk and her Embrace".

| ok,so they may have watered down,and now that Gian has left all seems lost.but listening to this you go "wow,these guys can write a good fucking riff when they want to!"Dusk and her embrace stands as a land mark for the band,but sadly one they will never surpass due to losing Gian pyres.

Shut up with that "beautiful lirycs" crap. Stop trying to sound deep and/or "gothic". Cradle is the sucks and so does danni. and his vocals are the worst in the "genre". Try some Marduk or some Dissection. WORD UP!!!

this is a pretty decent release from cradle, probably one of their finer albums out right now

| hah, the bsv guilty pleasure chronicles continue...my favorite cof album. i think there are some great ideas on here. the song writing is diversified yet never strays far from the root. i feel this is their apex.

| This cd is alright to listen to every 6 six months just to say you didn't waste the money. But I also say FUCK GOTHIC BAND IN GENREAL AND LISTEN TO THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER AND PRAYER FOR CLEANSING. But some more tallented black metal bands would be dimmu borgir, hypocrisy, and earlier cephalic carnage.

| I also forgot to add that most black metal is made for their performance which I have to say is pretty amazing but other than that they take 2 mins to write songs

| The songwriting is great and the lyrics are profound. More watered down than Vempire, but it is still really good.
