The debut album from who would soon become rock n' roll's sickest, and most deranged performer.
The songs on this record are not what one familiar with GG's later albums would expect to hear. This was released before GG started his wretched path of self destruction, on-stage defecation, and blood-soaked mayhem.
Here, GG actually sings in a snotty voice not yet destroyed by smoke and alcohol abuse. His band, The Jabbers, play punk rock with lots of pop hooks and catchy beats. Lyrically, the songs are pretty standard for GG Allin; wild parties, sleazy hookers, and a middle finger in the face of society. However compared to GG's later work, these songs are quite tame, coming off as an almost harmless teenage rebelion. Production is pretty raw, but every instrument is audible, and show that the Jabbers actually have some decent musical ability.

This doesn't sound like something your typical GG fan would want to bother with. Being a fan myself, I was skeptical when I heard this album had more pop influence than the scummy toilet rock of his later albums. But once I heard it, I thought it was quite good. The whole album is just fun to listen to, and the catchy songs had me singing along in no time. Reccomended for all GG Allin fans.

Great sleazy rock-n-roll from the "Madman of Manchester" and the Jabbers! Its got everything a good album should have, a crisp raw production, ripping sleazy solos and prostitute back up singers! Aside from being a total animal behind the mic GG was also an accomplished drummer and hit the skins for some of the tracks on this record!
This is a great album all the way through! I really get a kick out of the shitty piano on last song "1980's Rock n' Roll" ! I can just picture some dirtbag with frizzy long hair a pair of aviator sunglasses and an un-ashed cigarette stickin' out of his mouth creepin' out everyone in the the whole studio!
Own this.
