| Not much needs to be said. Most people realize these guys are one of the best, unfortunately a lot of people don't realize the level of rhythmic technicality these guys lay down.

| I agree, Nile tunes their guitars so low and muddy its hard to comprehend what they are actually doing, in a live setting they are incredibly tight and technical! Black Seeds is an awesome album, pick it up!

| I'll admit, when i first got into nile, I never noticed how technical they were. I was so blown away but how unique their sound was, but when i really payed attention to their guitar-work, i floated in the air and died. This album will eat your arms and smile at your parents. It is great.

| To the fellow fans of Nile keep this out of the reach of mainstream people because soon it may be getting into the hands of posers because of all the great reviews. (This is good stuff, for it to turn popular would fuck up Nile)

nile of course is off tha' hook!
Working in egyptian chants and sound effects like nobodies buisness yet, without sounding cheesy or lame. Having a problem decideing which long black hair endowed metal artists album to buy, pick up black seeds. That's all kiddies.

| Sheer unparalleled brilliance. The greatest death metal release ever.

| Nile just keeps upping the ante with every new release...always evolving, yet keeping true to their brand of brutal Egyptian death metal...This album proves that Nile is unmatched in the death metal community, and is only outdone by their new release, "In Their Darkened Shrines".

| A tour de force of a cd. Simply blew me away.

My favorite Nile album. Only Nile would be able to combine mind-blowing death metal with atmosphere and make it work. All those who really appreciate talented musicians will love this band.
This album is my favorite Nile album because it has the best combination of egyptian style and death metal. "Amongst the Catacombs..." was more in-your-face death metal. However, "Black Seeds" has more brutalality in its songs that don't use egyptian instruments (check out Masturbating the War God). Drums in this album made great technical improvments since "AMongst the Catacombs". "IN Their darkened Shrines" was a great album also, but it did not have as much Egypt-music parts as Black Seeds. Bottom line: This album is for you if you want extremely fast death metal combined with non-traditional sounds.

| Bottom Line: Nile Fuckin' Owns Your Soul

| Truly original. Nile owns your ass and will school you. Highly recomended
