My second favorite Opeth album. Great acoustic parts, incredible song structures, and a 20 minute masterpiece 'Black Rose Immortal.' Not to mention the classic 'To Bid You Farwell.' 10 out of 10. Long live the mighty king metal!!!

what only 1 review for opeths best fucking work? come on, Advent has got the best fucking opening riff in metal! fucking amazing, especially advent and nectar.

To Bid you Farewell is the greatest thing on this album. the rest is good but is easily eclipsed by the later works of this band. definitely a good album though.

Everything on this album is fucking top notch. No half ass. Amazing work. Also, the album cover is one of my favorites.
